Our Commitment to Sustainability

Taking into account the social and economic impacts of its production and development activities, this statement sets out actions and directions of Ganterie BCL Ltée toward the environment:

1. Human Ressources : To ensure the well-being of its employees, BCL maintains a high quality of life at work. Our company commits itself to offers a safe, healthy and functional work environment to all its work force.

2. Procurement : BCL applies strict quality evaluation procedures to all its suppliers. Our main objective is to use materials that help us reduce our production waste while providing the same quality of product to our customer.

3. Production : Our production process is based on strict quality standards control methods that allow us to maintain a low reject rate. All our personnel participate in the quality inspection process both on an individual and a team basis.

4. Eco-Energetic Installations : Since 2008, our manufacturing operations have been located in an higly energy-efficient building. Its floor has an insulating layer under the concrete to prevent heat from leaking out. It is also equipped with a radiant electrical heating system bellow the working surfaces for more efficiency. Its roof is insulated with recycled fibbers with a energy efficiency of R60, all of which are made in Quebec. Those insulating fibbers acts are also fireproof, and bug repellents and are non toxic.

5. Production Equipment : Our personnel trained to maintain all of our production equipment in top working conditions, through constant preventive maintenance. Doing this not only prolongs the useful life of our equipment, it also increased our productivity, through a better understanding of our manufacturing process. It also allows us to minimizes production wastes.
